What We OFFER

Through La Plaza we have space, resources, and partners to create many pathways to wellness.

La Plaza brings together Sonoma County leaders, partner organizations and community members. Together we (make it easier to) build community and thrive as we create and access healing activities. We support each other as we discover our individual and collective strength and ability to lead in our own lives and our community.

Systems Change, Trainings and Technical Assistance

La Plaza works with partner organizations, multi-sector partners, agencies, and philanthropy to develop and share Community Defined Evidence Practices that advance culturally responsive, healing-centered approaches to wellness. Drawing on La Plaza's lived experience as a Latine-led, community-designed wellness program — and the cultural wisdom, ancestral knowledge, and relational practices that ground our work — we offer trainings, technical assistance, and leadership development opportunities for partners seeking to reduce stigma, strengthen culturally responsive engagement, and build organizational conditions where both staff and community can thrive. Our offerings are designed for county agencies (Behavioral Health, Public Health, Social Services), nonprofits and CBOs, schools and youth-serving organizations, healthcare providers, community leaders, and promotoras — and are intentionally adaptable to the specific context, capacity, and cultural environment of each partner. Some of the specific trainings, technical assistance, and leadership development opportunities La Plaza can offer includes:
